Since 2011, I have lectured mostly MA level methodology courses at the Dep. of Historical Sociology (Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, Prague). I have graduated first in history and political science (Palacký University, Olomouc, Czech Republic) and then studied sociology (Central European University and Graduate School for Social Research in Warsaw) besides attending other study and professional stays abroad (Transregional Centre for Democratic Studies at New School for Social Research; Miami University and Aarhus University in Denmark). I am interested in various dimensions and manifestations of radical social change in Central and Eastern Europe following the revolutions of 1989 – ranging from the field of distorting nature of overlapping politics and economy at the time of transformation, or interest in collective memory and traumas of various events and happenings in recent Central-European history, to the research of shifts in family and pair relationships and their rearrangements in fast changing economic and social context. More recently my attention touched the cultural sphere (the research initiative - „Theater and Revolution ´89; Czech theater culture and November revolution“) and discussions concerning contemporary fine arts and living art in general.
