Doc. Šubrt presented at the 2nd International Belarusian-Czech Conference

On October 20, 2017 a public lecture by doc. PhDr. Jiří Šubrt with the title “Historical Sociology: the perspective of long-term historical processes and comparative analyses” took place at the Department of History of the Belarussian State University in Minsk. Doc. Šubrt also presented his new book „Istoričeskije processy, sociaĺnyje izmenenija, modernizacija s točki zrenija sociologii“ [Historical Processes, Social Change, and Modernization from the Viewpoint of Sociology], Moscow: RUDN, 2017.

The visit of the head of the Department of Historical Sociology Jiří Šubrt took place on the occasion of the 2. International Belarusian-Czech Conference which was hosted by the Belarusian State University in Minsk and attended by speakers from the Charles University, the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň, and supported by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Belarus.
